  Letting Go is just a phrase, they say, Mindset, the past and forgiveness do not delay, Yet it is not a turnaround that is quick, Thoughts and feelings can build walls that are thick Letting Go and forgiveness is hard, Eloquent words don't work when I'm scarred Delving deep and processing out This begins the journey with clout Letting Go and forgiveness may bring pain My choice and response can bring gain Holding on to hurt with a tight grip Only means I see my inner peace slip It starts with the intentional thought That change in me needs to be sought Then expressing thoughts and feelings will help Speaking, drawing, movement or just a yelp Bring in a friend, family and help from above This will help you be covered with love Begin to loosen the grip around this hurt Be courageous and do not divert The wrong, the hurt or the pain is real Starting to let go will break a hard seal Its hard to do this and stay sound But don't be mistaken forgiveness can abound The choice alwa...

New day Can I conceive or believe, Each morning there is something new to receive In the mist or the sun The same message has begun My sight and vision may be blurred Miss this truth and it will be deferred A prophet of the old scribed this phrase Which if you dare will set your heart ablaze It is that our Father sings over us With love, joy, care and no fuss He smiles over us with great delight He see us as precious, day or night Its not any action we have or haven't done This love and care is for everyone He is for us all the time Let that sink in, It's sublime His heart is for us every millisecond of the day Can you imagine this, it can reset your way Like a mother singing over her baby His love is certain and not a maybe Let each day begin with this extravagant thought That a smile from the Father can be caught His overwhelming heart for you is love Why not ponder on these words from above

  New Path I took a path which was new, Winding,muddy and sunlight bursting through, Shadows and smells, brings things up from the past Situations I thought would have to last There's been a shadow of death lingering on Trauma, shock and loss have been one painful marathon Triggers of sound and smell Have frozen me like a spell Yet this path has sunlight bursting through  Beyond the shadows, I know the sky is blue So there is a very deep level being unearthed Will I acknowledge this pain and let it be dispersed Holding on has been the norm, But staying here is constantly a storm Speaking out and letting go Can be like shooting an arrow from a bow Letting go, release again and again Hope and peace can begin to reign Touching something so deep within May take a while to let go and throw in the bin

Random Thoughts Random thoughts come trickling down From above, and all around Some like dandelions blow away Yet others, I'll meditate on and may stay Random thoughts come checking in Do I chew them over or put them in the bin Whose thoughts are these I wonder As I think, recycle them and ponder Random thoughts melt into mine Impressions, nudges, ideas of many kinds Do they develop into inklings of words or do they fly away like the birds A mixture of thoughts may be afloat but there is one thing that is certain within this boat These thoughts we have , what is the fruit if they are selfish or proud give them the boot Random thoughts may have no logical sense, Thoughts, words and pictures may to you seem dense Maybe, our Father has dropped them in And to our natural mind causes us to spin Random thoughts may be to share Go on open your mouth if you dare The one golden rule for the thoughts from above Is do they somehow express God's great love

  Sometimes is not always clear ahead, Not much focus, maybe fear instead I'd like a clearer path to cycle on The unknown is too long Is there hidden dips, and holes That metaphorically will effect my soul The "what if"scenarios fill my mind, If I skid, crash or bruise of any kind But along this path, I'm learning now Fear is something I do not have to allow It may feel real and flood my senses If allowed it builds numerous fences Fear can stop me in my track This can paralyse and take me back keeping fears hidden is so bad It changes us and makes us sad Fears hidden stay in the dark They eat away and make a mark Begin to be vulnerable if you dare Friends will listen as you share One step is what takes Be brave and don't worry about mistakes Open up and share your fears The hold and worry begin to disappear It may not all happen overnight What's powerful is it's in the light A first step is the start Will you be brave and play your part

   Letting Go Stuck in a rut and not moving fast, Difficult memories flying in from the past Video playing in your head all the time, Like walking through thick slime This track is old and set in stone What can I do as I feel all alone A nudge from above says look around A freedom path can be found Loosen your grip and let go The nudge from above tells me so My grip on the past must loosen and relax Freedom is released and it's unpacked  The Track disappears and is gone for good Now can be found a path, flowers and a wood Life's brewing, that's a start A germ of freedom comes into my heart Something magical happens when we let go As we are released from the past and grow The old track stops being a trap And a freedom journey begins to unwrap
