Rawness
Rawness
There is a place, a memory, that is raw
Triggered by a sound or event that makes me sore
Emotions swimming all over the place
They are landing in my body, heart and face
I cannot seem to move at all
As emotions dip down and fall
all the drastic scenes seem so real
As I struggle to be here, with what I feel
Oh help, I cry out internally
inside it is to me pure anarchy
So what can I do to bring a resolve
As these emotion continue to evolve
Can I change events and others around
so that I feel freer and not bound
What action to take is best
As it is not good feeling this stressed
Pour out your hearts to him, King David said
Don't stew on them and stay in bed
Begin to speak them from your mind
Then your eyes begin to open and not be blind
As keeping you thoughts inside yourself
Leads to turmoil and stagnancy on a shelf
Voicing them out helps you to see
That wisdom from above is the key
You must remember you are not alone
Family, tribes and relationships are the zone
Sharing your thoughts and opening up
Can be scary but will be more than a pickup
Light will invade the emotions you feel
This will highlight rawness and begin to heal
Are you willing to take a step in these times
Rather than staying in this poem that rhymes
It may be hard to go through this mess
Emotions flying and such rawness
One step at a time is what is required
Learn, grow and be inspired
Triggered by a sound or event that makes me sore
Emotions swimming all over the place
They are landing in my body, heart and face
I cannot seem to move at all
As emotions dip down and fall
all the drastic scenes seem so real
