Who am I , is the burning question

Does anyone have a suggestion

There's confusion about my identity

I feel like a non entity


I hear, I'm no good at this and that

I take these words as true facts 

Negative words come from the past 

I feel they are always going to last


They make me feel ineffective

That gives me a twisted perspective 

My life and identity can feel a sham

Where is the truth of who I am


Help comes from above the psalmist said 

The Heavenly Father reveals the truth instead

He will replace the false identity and make you whole

And transform your mind, body and soul


And Now.....


Let go of destructive words of all sorts

Release all the negative thoughts

Write them down on paper today

Give them to The Father to take away


Wait in the presence of Him from above

He is full of mercy and great love

He is your creator and speaks all things true

He will share what he truly thinks of you


He is for you and do not be afraid

He says,You are beautiful and wonderfully made

You are chosen and precious in his sight 

Open your heart to this divine insight 


Your heavenly Father has more to say

About who you are, every day

He can show you your true identity 

And will liberate your destiny

Raindrops from heaven

  The darkness was pierced with a sharp knife  As Light from heaven brought life Grey skies split open and the sun blazed through The landscape changed as the sky turned blue Everything changed within an instant The grey clouds and heaviness seemed distant Hopelessness and depression disappeared A shoot of hope began to appear Then coloured raindrops fell from above Magically full of redeeming love As raindrops touched people's skin Something supernatural started to begin The greyness of life was blown away Isolation, insecurity were cast away God's great love began to flow Life's colours began to grow And Now... All around there are people receiving  Open to The good news and believing Lives are changing and being transformed Their true identity is being formed

Being heard

  Feelings, emotions and threats of all sorts  Can no one else hear my thoughts They're running around in my mind I'm doing mental gymnastics all the time I can open my mouth that's easy to do  But I cannot express anything to you  It's painful, I just can't verbalise  Thought processes of any size  I'm not being difficult or strong willed But to voice my thoughts I don't feel skilled I often feel completely trapped My life and energy are totally sapped A friend draws near to me  They noticed that I'm all sea They sit with me and wait  No searching questions which I hate I sense acceptance and care from my friend Not feelings of being condemned  This gives me space to begin to explore My thoughts, feelings and a lot more I start slowly to speak out my thoughts  My friend is there being a support Thoughts that were going round and round  I am now speaking them out loud  It's very different to hear them out loud They're not stuck...
