Identity Exchange

 


Who am I , is the burning question

Does anyone have a suggestion

I'm confused about my identity

I feel as if I'm a non entity


I hear, I'm no good at this and that

I interpret these words as true facts 

Negative words that come from the past 

Can feel they are always going to last


These words can make me feel ineffective

Giving me a twisted perspective 

My life and identity can feel a sham

Where is the truth of who I am?


Help comes from above the psalmist said 

The Heavenly Father reveals truth instead

He will replaces false identity and makes us whole

Transforming  our mind, body and soul


And Now.....


Let go of destructive words of all sorts

Release all of the negative thoughts

Write them down on paper today

For your Heavenly Father to take away


Wait in the presence of Him from above

He is full of mercy and great love,

He will speak out all things true

Saying what he really thinks of you


Remember , he is for you so do not be afraid

He says,You are beautiful and wonderfully made

You are chosen and precious in his sight 

Open your heart to this divine insight 


Your heavenly Father has more to say,

About who you are, every day

He can show reveal your true identity 

 Liberating you into your destiny

Raindrops from heaven

  The darkness was pierced with a sharp knife  As Light from heaven brought life Grey skies split open and the sun blazed through The landscape changed as the sky turned blue Everything changed within an instant The grey clouds and heaviness seemed distant Hopelessness and depression disappeared A shoot of hope began to appear Then coloured raindrops fell from above Magically full of redeeming love As raindrops touched people's skin Something supernatural started to begin The greyness of life was blown away Isolation, insecurity were cast away God's great love began to flow Life's colours began to grow And Now... All around there are people receiving  Open to The good news and believing Lives are changing and being transformed Their true identity is being formed
