I can see a different perspective now
How suddenly past events have a wow
Its not denial or wishful thinking
But being saved and not sinking

Take a look and reflect
How help has come with a powerful effect
Transformation is not by chance in this case
The help has come with love and grace

My help comes from above the psalmist said
I know that He has kept me alive not dead
Angels watching over me , everywhere I go

So, look back and see for yourself
Events do not need to stay on a "trauma" shelf
Help can come from above, I say
To highlight events in a different way

The healing continues as we say
As we see our stories in a changed way
The knowledge that we were never alone
Brings such a profound truth home
